About this course

The Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety is the standard qualification for accessing frontline employment in events and crowd control — stadiums, festivals, racecourses, arenas, shopping centres and anywhere that involves managing crowds. It is mapped to the Skills Active Spectator Safety National Occupational Standards and recommended as the minimum-level qualification in the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA) Green Guide for Safety at Sports Grounds. Delivered over five days across our East London venues, the course combines classroom theory, ACT counter-terrorism e-learning and assessed workplace observation so you finish job-ready for steward, turnstile-operator and response-steward roles.
