About this course
Our 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is an Ofqual-regulated, HSE-recognised qualification valid for three years. It's the qualification required by the SIA for new Door Supervisor licence applications, and it's also the standard low-risk workplace first aid qualification for offices, retail, schools, restaurants and event environments. Hands-on, practical training delivered by experienced first aid instructors.

Primary & Secondary Survey
DRSABCD assessment, recovery position, calling 999/112.
CPR & AED
Adult CPR practice on manikins, automated external defibrillator use.
Common Injuries & Conditions
Choking, bleeding, shock, burns, fractures, head injuries, asthma, anaphylaxis, heart attack and stroke.
Assessment
Continuous practical assessment by your instructor — no formal exam.
Resits: Re-attendance available at a reduced rate.
