  • Nominated First Aiders on lower-risk / smaller construction sites
  • Employers meeting Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 needs assessment

Entry requirements

  • 18 years or over
  • Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
  • Reasonable spoken and written English

What you will learn

  • Role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
  • Primary survey, CPR and AED use
  • Choking, bleeding, shock and burns
  • Seizures, minor injuries and unresponsive casualties

Certification & outcome

Ofqual-regulated Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, valid for 3 years.
